In compliance with (and exceeding) San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance, which expands on the CA Healthy Workplaces and Healthy Families Acts:
Employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked
Accrual begins on the first day of employment
Employees may begin using accrued sick time on the first day of employment
Accruals cap at 72 hours
There is no limit on the amount of accrued sick leave an employee can use in a year
Unused accrued sick time carries over from one year to the next, up to the maximum balance cap of 72 hours
To maintain equitable practices, as a company, we observe all federal holidays. We understand that employees may wish to take time off for other culturally relevant holidays, celebrations, or traditions and have made allowances for this in the PTO policy below.
We have a simple policy — everyone gets pro-rated up to four weeks of PTO per calendar year.
